Garage Fire! is a regional festival of garage bands. Rock'n'roll from the dark basements and damp garages, played on re-recorded tapes and privately pressed 7" vinyl.

Garage Fire! is a festival of garage rock'n'roll bands from Serbia and the region. The bands whose music is characterized by a raw and honest expression, essentially opposed to the values of the contemporary music industry. These are bands that reach their fans travelling by vans, hold legendary gigs in iconic semi-legal local clubs and release their albums for obscure record labels from the U.S. and Germany when they cannot find a local label. Rock'n'roll from the dark basements and damp garages, played on re-recorded tapes and privately pressed 7" vinyl.

As the first festival of its kind in Belgrade, Garage Fire! has in four years become an important point in communication between the like-minded people from Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and the wider region (Greece, Bulgaria, Italy), and an important training ground for the promotion of young bands and local rock'n'roll production. This year we want to show a relevant overview of the regional garage rock'n'roll scene, and give a chance to those whose voice has not yet been heard. For the first time this year, through an open competition, we invite young, talented bands to appropriately present their music to the Belgrade audience.
